Friday family movie nights are a great way for us to relax after a long week and before a busy weekend (it's football season, y'all!). Since it's October, we've loved watching Halloween-themed movies.
Here's a fun pumpkin-themed snack board we made this past weekend for our kids since no movie night is complete without the snacks!
And if you want some ideas for movies, check out this list we made in 2023.
We enjoyed this snack because it gave something for everyone and it was a mix of healthy, salty, and sweet. You can use a circular wooden board or even a pizza pan (that's what I used) to set up your pumpkin.
For snacks, as you can see, you mostly buy orange things but you also add in a green for the steam and some black/blue for the mouth and eyes.
Here's a list of what we used for your inspiration:
Orange:
Baby Carrots
Goldfish
Peach Rings
Cuties (Oranges)
Orange Slices (Gummies)
Cheese Puffs
Candy Corn
Cheese Cubes (not pictured)
Ritz Crackers (not pictured)
Cheez-Its (not pictured)
Green:
Jolly Rancher Ropes
Black (for the eyes/mouth):
Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
Licorice (not pictured)
Chocolate Chips (not pictured)
We hope this is a fun way for you to slow down and be intentional in a season where things seem to rush by so quickly!
